WINDOWS 11 wont let me set pin
Okay so at first I couldn't update to the new 11 beta version. Eventually had to reset my computer, after going through hell with that, now I can't set up a pin or anything, but it says that I am updated to the newest version. What the heck do I do to fix the not letting me set up a pin?
Sometimes, Windows is picky about how you set up your account. Make sure you’re using a Microsoft account instead of a local account. If you’re not logged in with a Microsoft account, log in with one to see if it helps.
- Hi, my issue is a little different.
i jus installed windows 11 few days back and created a local account instead of the online one.
After i was done with the installation i created a log in password and then tried to create a pin so it will be easier to log in without entering the complex password.
whenever i click on the add pin tab it will ask me to enter my password and then nothing happen.
i hope that i dont need to reset my laptop again. Hello,

None have resulted in my being able to set a sign-in PIN.
For months I've been using a PIN and then suddenly it stopped working. I don't know how to tell if this coincided with a particular update.

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.675.0I am logged into two Microsoft accounts (personal and school). That has never been a problem but I don't know if that could have something to do with it.

The solutions found on most websites for this problem didn't work for me. It turned out that I had to disable TPM in the BIOS to get Windows Hello for Business to start working again.
