Windows 11 won’t recognize Integrated motherboard Bluetooth
After 35 years of computer work, I though jbsan3's guidance to unplug all USB devices and unplugging the power supply was stupid. UNTILL IT WORKED. Seems to be an ASUS motherboard problem. Mine is an ASUS Z97 Deluxe.

Me Too! I can't believe years of computer knowledge went down the drain. But jbsan3 guidance really work, I'm so dumbfounded, going crazy restart and safe mode back and forth, only to end up this. Asus X Maximus Formula board here. Powercycle without unplugging usb, wait all the lights of board went out, boot up and double check bluetooth and wifi controller enabled in bios then went in windows 11 to find the icons went back up. It occurs to me on Windows 11, so I can atest this method works for windows 11 too.

Lol I know the feeling. It's a real brain buster. But finding the fix opened a new world of insight.
Computer are becoming real strange in there workings.
I wonder if the Bluetooth is always on for tracking reasons.
Amazon Alexa , and the Apple gents use Bluetooth triangulation to locate and track devices even when location is off on the device.
Using Bluetooth active devices, like my motherboard, may be used for this...
Who knows... 🤔

If you're lazy like me, go into bios and disable Bluetooth Controller.
Reboot into windows and immediately restart.
Open bios and enable Bluetooth Controller.
Mines an ASUS X670E-E.

Same issue with ASUS TUF Z390-PLUS, power cycle worked fine.
Adding here for consistency.
