windows 11 widget language issue

hey there, I just updated to windows 11, and I am facing an issue with widgets, not able to change the lang of it, tried most of the ways to change it but still had no success.

    Just found a solution: Change windows display language and logoff then login, you'll find Widgets in desired language. Note: I had Widgets in Arabic, tried to change language in website to United States (English) but the language only changed for website (which is opened in Edge) then had this thought: Wait, how would changing website language changes an app language. So i changed Region to United States and Tada: Widgets became in English.

**bleep**, that actually worked, but also they should give an option to change the lang to our desire even tho we live in some other country.. hope so before the final release of Windows 11 they make these changes.

    @same issue in belgium (english US and French as languages) > widget in dutch :///

      Same issue for me (also living in Belgium).  When clicking on the "house" icon, top left of the (dutch) widgets screen, the http://www.msn.com/nl-be/feed?ocid=winp2fp is generated and I would like http://www.msn.com/fr-be/feed?ocid=winp2fp instead.  Where is that "nl-be" located ?

        Only way I got widget language changed was from Settings - Time & Language - Country or Region and after that reboot or logout-login.

      So now it's October '22, and there's STILL no viable solution?

      My language settings are ALL US, I've even deleted Chinese as a reading language AND an IME, and the widgets are STILL displaying in Chinese(S). I think it's time to move to Ubuntu.

       

      What are the folks in Redmond doing, exactly?

        Ken_J_And now it is November 2022, almost December, and Microsoft STILL cannot get this SIMPLE issue to actually work. I want to use widgets, but when I go into it, it's all in Thai. I live in Thailand but that doesn't mean I want my ENGLISH LANGUAGE computer to show me stories and sports in Thai. Get off your backsides, Microsoft and fix this already! I had to turn off widgets as they are USELESS to me! This is why I bought a Macbook. At least Apple knows what they are doing and cares about their users. All my sites and widgets are in ENGLISH! Microsoft = FAIL!
