windows 11 support for 7th gen intel cpu
Hi there, you are welcome to the Microsoft Tech Community!
Microsoft has not supported intel gen 7 processors and AMD processors from 2017 yet but they are looking into it and most probably these processors will be supported till Windows 11 releases to the public.

But that's why I'm sticking to Windows, because it's still indispensable for me. I have exactly the same problem as my laptop also meets all requirements, except for the CPU generation. In addition, Apple is no better than Microsoft in this regard, although it supports devices longer, Apple no longer offers all functions on older devices (for example, a few functions on macOS 12 require the M1 processor from Apple), which is no better. Microsoft does not make any functional differences between the processor generations. Yes, I don't have a MacBook, but I found out about MacOS 11 and 12 and I like the function and design and that's why I also like the design of Windows 11, as it makes Windows a bit more similar to MacOS in terms of design. Both systems are good and both (at Microsoft for the first time in years, Apple does it more often) now and then make a radical cut in the requirements, which is not bad, just annoying. Exactly for the reason I understand why Microsoft makes TPM 2.0, UEFI and Secure Boot mandatory, but not why they don't support the 7th generation of Intel processors if you meet all the other requirements, I don't want to and can't understand.

Yeah, what you are telling is absolutely right windows 11 has come with more visual and performance changes and why don't 7th gen support windows 11 I don't know and intel even released graphics driver for windows 11 for 7th gen cpu. Why to release graphics driver if it doesn't support windows 11 . I am also having one more doubt in windows 7 compatible list the processor's with 5th gen are supporting windows 7 and not older generation like 1st and 2nd but when windows 7 released in 2009 there were no i3 i5 and i7. which were released next year of release of windows 7. hope Microsoft should consider 7th gen to windows 11 list philippbaumgartner1999

This is the reason why people should leave windows and move to Apple. Tezzarrific

This one reason ? , don't forget that you can continue to use your system with windows 10 until the end of support of windows 10 that is in oct' 2015, so by then your 7th Gen CPU will be approx. 7-8 years old, doesn't seem unreasonable to update your device after that time.
Or is in because Apple have such a great track record of backwards compatibility support for there products?
