Windows 11 sound problem

since i upgraded to windows 11, my laptop has no sound. I was trying update and reinstalling my sound driver but its still not working.

    In the latest cumulative update for windows 11 (10.0.22000.120)(KB5005188), The problem is solved for me.
    Hope you guys also get resolved.

OK, I found a solution that works for me. After reinstalling drivers, I disabled Audio Enhancements. My speakers and mic started working properly after that. The way to get there is:

 

  1. Control Panel
  2. Hardware and Sound
  3. Sound
  4. On the Playback tab, find the speakers that aren't working
  5. Select it and then click the Properties button
  6. Go to the Advanced Tab
  7. Make Sure "Enable Audio Enhancements" is not checked.

 

This did the trick for me. You might need to do that for your mic as well. My speakers and mic are fully working with the Realtek drivers. Hope this helps some of you.
