- System Appearance & Performance
- Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Performance (Adjust for best performance):
Turn off these (first 10) visual effects:
- Animate controls and elements inside Windows
- Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing
- Animations in the taskbar
- Enable peek
- Fade or slide menus into view
- Fade or slide ToolTips into view
- Fade out menu items after clicking
- Save taskbar thumbnail previews
- Show shadows under mouse pointer
- Show shadows under Windows
- Settings > Personalization > Colors:
- Turn off Transparency effects
- Keep ON (optional):
- Animations
- Transparency
- Game Mode

Animations and Transparency can be toggled On if you prefer some visual effects for aesthetic reasons, but for performance, turning them off is recommended.

Click: Performance (Adjust for best performance)
Disable these effects:
