Spot on. What is the ETA for making Windows 11, at least as capable as Windows 10?

I totally agree with you.
I have 3 PCs. Two running Windows 10 PRO and one running Windows 11 PRO.
The one running win 11 is a new computer and I installed the OS from scratch, not an upgrade.
After a week of trying to learn the new UI, I concluded that Win 11 was a HUGE DOWNGRADE from Win 10. The UI in Win 11 is laughable for anyone trying to get tasks done.
I spent decades in the technical end of IT, wearing many hats over the years in a corporate environment. If we had delivered software to our users as bad as Win 11, there would have been a user revolt, and we would have been looking for new jobs.
I think Microsoft, like car manufacturers, have lost touch with their customers. Car manufacturers have decided that asking $75,000-$100,000+ for an excrement of a vehicle that will require plenty of fixes and/or recalls would fly.
Microsoft decided that they could put out any excrement of an OS and it would be OK because their customers don't have a choice. For those that remember MS Vista, think this, “those that don't or can't learn from history are bound to repeat it!” (Windows 11).
As someone who has done a considerable amount of software development in my carrier, I kind of know what most likely happened. Managers looking for their bonuses pushed the development team to produce the finished product by a certain date regardless of its development status to secure their bonuses. (I lived that life)
They probably told the team that they could fix any problems down the line.
AND HERE WE ARE!
The biggest laugh is that Microsoft expects their customers to buy or build new computers so they can run Windows 11.
Hey, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft are you getting ideas from Mary Barra CEO, of GM?
I am seriously considering reverting my Win 11 PRO pc to Win 10 PRO. Clean install.
I don't know how long I can wait for Microsoft to make Windows 11 a usable OS.
