Windows 11 multi monitor taskbar not working properly
- Jul 01, 2021
This is a "known" issue with the release. It's noted on the release notes.

right-clicking opens the context menu for the taskbar, that is not what you are trying to do, so that is not a solution. thats like saying, "i wanted to take my socks off, but someone chopped my feet off and now the problem is solved"
- GhrystDec 03, 2021Brass Contributorand chopping off your feet also removes the socks. both actions create new problems of their own, so neither is a solution.

Ghryst I am confused. So this thing still hasnt been fixed? It is may 2022 and I still have the same issue.
2 monitors. I can not click on the date/time on my second monitor. I just upgraded to win11 recently.

No, this has not been fixed, which means I will not be able to update Windows 11 until they fix this, but no one at Microsoft seems to have any idea how to fix it.

Bugs in the release version of Windows 11:
1. Taskbars do not show up in multi-display setups unless you right click on them. When you do, the "show display" tag often covers what you want to click on.
2. Cannot move the taskbars either to the left or right side of the screen.
These are bugs for power users, caused either intentionally or by design. They've been present and noted since the alpha.
Workarounds are nice, but are not bug fixes.
- AnonymousNov 11, 2021When did I say it was a bug fix??? It's just something to get you by.... I know it opens a context menu, so I intentionally right click a bit over.... Dont make this harder than it has to be.

Deleted Not harder than it has to be.
Just harder than it should be and a step backwards, not forwards. Upgrades should be just that.
