Windows 11 multi monitor taskbar not working properly
This is a "known" issue with the release. It's noted on the release notes.

- I created an account and logged in just to point out that this isn't an answer. It's a meaningless statement that doesn't actually address the issue. "Yeah that's a thing" is not helpful to anyone.
- Not really. This taskbar problem still exists even in the final release version. If you plug the second display, via HDMI, after windows on, then the icon of currently opened apps not showing properly in in the taskbar on the second display. So, the second display must be plugged before the windows is started
Here is a work around in the form of a bat file you can put in your startup folder
"copy %userprofile%\shortcut.name" "%AppData%\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar"
ping -n w 5000 1.1.1.1 >nul
Del "%AppData%\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\shortcut.name"it pins something to task bar, waits 5 seconds and unpins it, which kick starts the taskbar responding to the mouse on screen to
Or you can just point mouse at bottom of screen and right click and it will pop up as well
Nikyxj sir windows 11 taskbar still not working on muliMonitor am using Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.318) on my thinkpad with ryzen 5 on NVME with 16GB ram its very unresponsive and persnoly it has some glassie effect but as a perspective of performance its far-bihand from win 10 it was fun to work with windows 10
- NO THESE BUGS WITH TASKBAR HAVE LASTED 25 YEARS!
