Windows 11 multi monitor clock on all taskbars

We're in the month of September, how hard is it to put the clock on all taskbars for each monitor in Windows 11?  I don't know what's so hard to implement this?  This feature is in Windows 10, is there a reason why we can see the clock on each monitor besides the primary in Windows 11?

Ha... I'm glad I'm not the only one that wishes the clock was on the second monitor. I run my keyboard, mouse and monitors through a KV switch, switching back-and-forth between my Win11 machine and a Win10 machine and I'm always looking for the clock on the second monitor 🙂

Good news, folks! I'm running the Dev Insider Edition of Windows 11 and guess what's back? Both the clock on the second monitor AND the weather widget! Note that the Dev version is even more ahead of the curve than the Beta version and sometimes has features that don't make it to the release (public/normal) version... but I suspect both these features will make it. The only negative I see so far is that the clock on the second monitor is not interactive - clicking on it doesn't do anything like bring up a calendar, etc. Hopefully this will be addressed shortly, too.

Is there a solution that doesn't require installing 3rd party software?

I have this problem after installing Windows 11. Is there a solution that doesn't require installing 3rd party software?

I agree. Is there a solution that doesn't require installing 3rd party software?

I prefer not to install third party apps, but I might consider using ElevenClock temporarily because I actually look at my "secondary" monitor more than my primary. (No, don't tell me just to swap them; I have a peculiar setup involving sharing the same monitor between two computers and using Microsoft Mouse without Borders to control both PCs so that won't work.)

It's also mildly annoying that Windows 10 just introduced the option to show the weather on the taskbar just in time for Windows 11 to launch without that neat little feature.

Yes! The weather feature is one I like and was getting used to, and now it's gone. Surely, it couldn't be that hard to retain such a feature?

Is there a way to bump this to the top? It's in the app store as well now for easy install.

The fact it's in the AppStore now is a good sign. Thank you for letting us know. As far as I know it's not possible for me to pin it to the top, maybe wongster41 has the option to do that.

I agree that it's absurd to purposely remove a useful function like a clock on the Taskbar of my secondary monitor. As mentioned above, when using a full-screen app on the main monitor, it is very practical to be able to glance at the second monitor to see what time it is. Apparently Microsoft again knows better than me what my needs are?

It is funny, when I hold my mouse at the position on my secondary monitor where the clock is on my main monitor I see the tooltip from the clock. The same happens for the network and sound etc. So they seem to even just hide the clock but not the tooltip..

Installed Win11 yesterday 5th Oct. Full screen app running on the main monitor and I am all the time trying to check the time from my second monitor but pfft. It's not there.. So far only issues I've found is exactly this. I am surprised how so simple feature is missing.

No need to be so condescending to OP. We get it. You have no dignity and defend Microsoft. This feature has been missing since July. Touch grass man.

Entitlement ? For being upset that someone is incapable of adding a feature that already existed before ? Are you for real man ?
