Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22449 on a Kaby Lake CPU

Hello, I have a VM running Win11 on a i7-7700k CPU, and I'm confused. Today there was the mentioned build upgrade available, although I've read articles about MS booting out people with 7th Gen Intel and Zen 1 (or older) out of the insider program for W11, stating that these CPUs also won't be getting the upgrade from W10 at launch, and only would be able to install it from an ISO, and even that possibly without getting any windows updates in the future.

Now I'm confused. Is my CPU supported or not?
