Finally found a fix which was posted in another discussion thread. Was having the same issue as everyone else when updating.

Might be worth giving this a try if you are still having issues.
Once i had done this and run the update again, all installed perfectly. Might be worth giving this a try if you are still having issues. For me the setting was under CPU settings in BIOS but it would depend what brand you have i am guessing.

I initially thought I had virtualization enabled in BIOS. It was not the case. After re-enabling it and running the update, it was successful.
