Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release)

Hello. I'm in windows insider and dev channel. Today I wanted to download and install the preview version of Windows 11. When I went to the windows updates section, This update was being downloaded. The update went up to 8%, but after that, a page like the following opened and the update encountered an error (image uploaded)

My device does not support both, but according to what was written in the windows blog, I can download and install previews until General Availability and then go back to windows 10

      Hi
I wonder what if I do not do a step correctly?
Any registry change is risky - I wouldn't recommend it!

Yep, that seemed to do the trick.

It is currently downloading and installing... that's certainly further than I got before.

      Thanks again.

    Hi,

I had this same issue. Looks like the same as me, I don't think the machine you are using is compatible for Windows 11 - if your machine is 2 years or older it wont work, mine is 3 years old.

This is the issue more people are going to face, I think Windows 11 will be an out of the box build for newer machines, no good for us who have older machines.

Windows 11 requires a certain processor too. I installed it on a Virtual Machine and had a play about with it. VMware seems to be the best one.
