Windows 11 fan spins wildly during standby
When the laptop is in idle standby mode, it often abruptly shifts from quiet operation to full-speed fan rotation. However, routine checks in Task Manager reveal no high-resource processes. Upon occasionally opening Task Manager and observing without interaction, a suspicious process appears when the fan activates. Yet, the process vanishes immediately upon touching the mouse or keyboard, making sustained tracking impossible. Seeking troubleshooting and resolution methods for this invisible process.

A more detailed tool from Microsoft Sysinternals that can reveal hidden or less obvious processes.
Available via Windows Performance Toolkit. Record a trace during idle, then analyze to see what processes or drivers wake up the system.
It might download and install update. I have the same issue on my laptop.
