Windows 11 crashes during update to latest dev build
Windows crashes after it shuts down during the update to the latest dev build 22478.1000 (rs_prerelease) and then reverts the update. Tried several times and it happens all the time, and no dump file...
OldloratH try and run these commands in an elevated command prompt by typing CMD in the search box on your taskbar then right clicking on command prompt and selecting "run as admin":
1.Run chkdsk/f C: and press the Enter (it will say the drive is in use do you want to run this on the next reboot select yes or Y)
2. Run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press the Enter
3. Run sfc /scannow
reboot the computer then try to run the update again
chkdsk/f C:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Run sfc /scannow
win 11 pro 2222478.1012
Same -- error 0xC1900101
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Run sfc /scannow
win 11 pro 2222478.1012
Same -- error 0xC1900101
I tried everything.
Did a windows update troubleshooter
Restart
Did chkdsk/f C:
Restart
Did DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Did sfc /scannow
win 11 pro 2222478.1012
Keeps giving the same green screen error and restarts.- Sorry im out of options for you to try
The only thing i can suggest is to submit a bug report in the feedback hub and hopefully they release a fix asap to fix this
