Windows 11 computer displays a blue screen after restarting following an internet disconnection.

The computer periodically loses network connectivity and cannot be manually restored (requiring a reboot). However, attempting to restart the system after each disconnection directly triggers a blue screen (not a blue screen after restart). The network disconnection and blue screen issues have persisted simultaneously for an extended period. Seeking the underlying cause of this correlation and a solution.

The situation you’re describing—where network connectivity issues and BSODs occur simultaneously, with BSODs triggered specifically when trying to restart after disconnection—indicates a likely underlying hardware or driver problem, possibly compounded by system corruption or hardware failure.

Outdated, corrupted, or incompatible network drivers can cause disconnections and BSODs, especially if they crash or conflict during system restart.

Since your hardware is quite old, the network driver might be outdated or incompatible. Visit the motherboard or PC manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for your network adapter.
