Microsoft typically releases cumulative updates to address known issues. Check Windows Update for the latest patches and install any available updates. Often, stability improvements and bug fixes are included in these updates.

When Windows 11 24H2 first launched, some users reported stability problems, including BSODs, black screens, driver conflicts, and other glitches. This was somewhat expected with major updates, especially early on.

While operating system bugs can certainly cause these issues, they are very, very frequently caused by incompatibilities or problems with your specific hardware components (graphics card, motherboard, RAM, storage drives, etc.) and their corresponding drivers. A new OS version like 24H2 might expose existing driver issues that weren't apparent on 23H2, or it might have compatibility problems with certain hardware configurations.
