Windows 10 Pro Workstation Edition Installation Options
Hello, I plan to install Windows 10 22H2 Professional Workstation Edition and have questions regarding the version number selection: Should I follow some recommendations and install an older version with specific patches (e.g., July 2023's 19045.3208), or should I directly install the latest version containing all the newest security updates (e.g., the July 2025 release)? I need to understand the specific differences and pros and cons of these two options.

If your environment relies on certain configurations or software that work best with a specific build, sticking to that version minimizes compatibility issues.
For security concern, pls install the latest version.
