Windows 10 - Can you choose folder columns specific to folders?

This is one that's been eluding me, or maybe it's not possible. There should definitely be an ability to have the column headers (and therefore the columns) shown specific to either the folder or the folder type. There are generally, in my experience, literally scores of available columns that can be displayed and you can rearrange them, i.e. the order shown left to right. However, usually all you see are Name, Date Modified, Type, Size. Some folders contain files that beg for a much more varied and interesting set of columns. For instance, music files I want to see length. Length has no meaning for most files.

I keep encountering this. To find Length in the list of available columns when there are like 100 available is a hassle and I don't want to keep having to add it. Plus there are a ton of other attributes I might want shown. What am I missing?
