Window Vista Will not completely Boot

Gets to the eye screen and no farther. Safe mode boot goes to storport.sys. Repair system like this loading system then the eye and it stays there. ot

Cpu AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Ql-64 2.1Ghz

Gateway NV52 Series

632 Memory

Any question will be answered best I can. I want this computer to boot as Vista, not 7 and DEFINITELY NOT 10!

    Your system's RAM (632MB) is very limited for modern Windows, but Vista can run with 512MB minimum, so it should work.

    If you want to avoid Windows 7 or newer, sticking with Vista is possible but may be less secure and compatible with newer hardware/software.
