Win11 taskbar only at the bottom of the screen - it needs to be changed!

I like the ability to move the Taskbar to the Left Vertical of the screen and have had it there for several versions. That it is now only available on the bottom is not workable for me! Why did it have to change from Win10. Looks like I remain on Win10 for my main machine until things "improve" on WIN11.
