Win 11 and thunderbird
I had updated to win 11 on my Dell laptop from Win 10. I had never tried to use thunderbird, the email client till recently. I tried to download it and what comes up, puzzled me...It said something like it is now known as Mozilla. In the past, I would copy the old profile and install it on the new pc and all worked well. Its been a long time since I have done this and some syntax escapes me, maybe someone can remind me, if they still work. I tried syncing and it failed, and then I tried export/inport and that failed. What is going on here???The more Microsoft updates systems, browsers and take complete over, the more i feel like a ignorant user.

It sounds like you are experiencing some confusion regarding Thunderbird, which is indeed still the Mozilla Thunderbird email client, developed by Mozilla. It has not changed its name; however, its branding may have varied slightly in their marketing.
