Win 10/11 file history is malfunctioning after an update why hasn't Microsoft fixed this issue yet?

I have noticed File History have problems across 5 different PCs in august that were previously running without problems. I checked the drives on 3 of those machines which all came back error free. Microsoft need to look into this.
