widgets does not open
I click and nothing happens, literally nothing. Icon animation works.

ok, fixed.
This did not work for me. I also got a lot of errors running the second code, but they both should have ran correctly. I restarted but widgets still do not work. Was there anything special that you did that was not mentioned in the forum linked?
