Why did an extra E drive appear after updating to Windows 10?
After the system completes an update, a previously unseen E drive partition suddenly appears in “This PC” or Disk Management. It is unclear whether this partition is a system recovery partition, a temporary partition, or an abnormal display. Please advise on how to identify it and recommend appropriate handling.

The appearance of a new E drive partition after a Windows update can be concerning, but it’s often a normal part of system maintenance or recovery processes.
Reboot the computer and see if the drive disappeared.
