Who use the crypto folder on my computer?

While searching in Roaming, I got curious and clicked on Microsoft. Then I found the "Crypto" carpet. Is my pc compromised?

There is nothing to worry. Your system isn't compromised at all. Even I can see that folder on my Windows PC.

As a developer, I knew this day would come, but I still want to scream.

Crypto is short for Cryptography, which is commonly used in OS. What's the problem?

That folder is for security, it is used for all encryption associated to the TPM on your motherboard. It will be bad if you delete it.

Rest assured that it is not connected to hackers or cryptomining on your pc.
