Where can I find Windows 8 product key after reinstall?

If your machine is still running Windows 8, you can sometimes find Windows 8 product key by going into the settings. Open up a Command Prompt window and run the following command:
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
This should display your key if it’s available.
If you linked your Windows 8 license to a Microsoft account, you might be able to retrieve it via that account. Log in to your Microsoft account on the website and look for your digital products or purchase history—it might just show up there!
