When Windows 11 will support 7gen i7-7500U intel processcor
I would recommend the following:
1) Make a full backup of your system on an external USB drive. I find that Macrium Reflect Free does a good job of this, as it allows you to make a USB flash recovery boot drive which you can use to restore your system, but you may have your own favorite.
2) Try installing the Windows 11 upgrade to see if it works. Don't use the Upgrade Assistant: download the ISO from the Windows 11 page, double-click it to mount it as a DVD drive and double-click the setup.exe file to start the installation process.
3) If, for some reason, the standard upgrade from ISO doesn't work, I recommend the following video:

It gives clear instructions on downloading a set of utilities from Github which will modify both the Windows 11 ISO and your existing Windows 10 system to allow Windows 11 installation on pretty much any computer that has a 64 bit processor. I have tried it on a couple of systems, and it worked perfectly on both as long as the instructions were followed correctly. And Windows Update did work properly after using this method.
Of course, you can live without Win 11. But if you really want it on your system, this is the best way to do it.
