What to do if my iPhone stuck in boot loop won't restore? (Windows 11)
- Sep 26, 2024
Yeah, I've had that happen before—it’s usually a system issue, not hardware. iTunes can be useless in this case, but Fixppo saved me by fixing the boot loop without wiping my data—definitely worth a try!
I followed this guide: https://www.applettop.com/iphone-stuck-in-boot-loop
Good luck!
That sounds really frustrating — sorry you're going through that. When an iPhone is stuck in a boot loop and iTunes can't recognize it at all, it's often a sign of a software issue, especially if it started happening after an update or app crash. But in some cases, it could also be hardware-related, like a faulty battery or logic board issue.
A few things you could try if you haven’t already:
Force restart your iPhone — For iPhone 13 Pro Max, quickly press and release Volume Up, then Volume Down, then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo. Sometimes this helps break the loop temporarily.
Try a different cable or USB port — Sometimes it’s just a connectivity issue on Windows.
Put the phone into DFU Mode — This is a deeper restore state than recovery mode. It might allow iTunes or Finder to detect the device even if it’s stuck. It’s a bit tricky, so I’d look up a guide for iPhone 13 specifically.
If none of that works, it could be hardware-related, especially if the phone was recently dropped or exposed to water. In that case, a visit to an Apple Store or repair center might be the safest route.
Hope you get it sorted out soon — I know how stressful it can be to have your phone completely unusable.
