What can I do to improve my slow typing speed?

I am currently using the HP EliteBook 745 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU to ask this question. The issue I am experiencing only occurs on one specific website, though it may potentially affect a few others as well. When typing a reply on the Nextdoor forums, I notice a significant delay in the text appearing on the screen. On this laptop, I can see the text I type (for example, "let's say I'm typing this") only after typing a portion of it, whereas on my other laptop running Ryzen 3250U, the text appears instantaneously as I type. Both laptops are running Windows 10 version 23H2.

As for network connections, the EliteBook 745 is connected via wired connection with a speed of 500mbps, while the other laptop is connected via WiFi with a speed of 250mbps. I find it strange that the wired connection is experiencing lag while the WiFi connection is not.

Both laptops use Adblock extensions, so I suspect the issue may not be related to the website, but rather a problem specific to this laptop. I have considered resetting or restoring the laptop to Windows 10 and then updating to Windows 11 to see if the issue persists.

Additionally, the EliteBook 745 is connected to an HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station, which could potentially be causing the problem. This laptop also receives multiple pop-up ads, unlike the other laptop. When I asked others on the Nextdoor forums, only a few reported experiencing similar issues with pop-ups.

I tried running the EliteBook 745 on WiFi without the docking station, but the issue persisted. I am now seeking suggestions for troubleshooting steps or fixes to resolve this delayed typing issue. Thank you.
