What version of Windows do you have now.
Sometimes rolling back an update is good for the user - pause the update.

- Sorry for my late message. Yesterday I tried to update again but it failed again.... I am now at Version 1000.22000.593.0 (win11 insider programme enrolled). The update patch is for version Windows 11 Insider Preview 22621.1 (ni_release). btw I am in domestic China, and I have also installed PowerToys. Ummm I don't know if these could be the problem... This is really frustrating because the undapte and the roll back really take time...

This is the program with the highest privileges - so it can cause a problem.
All the rollbacks were after downloading through the Windows update section, or did you manually try to download the ISO and update in place?
No, sadly it is an auto update. I will try uninstall PowerToys than try to update again, thanks a lot and hope it will work Deleted
