unstable startup of windows

 

"Windows Boot Issue: Need Help!

Hey fellow Windows Insiders,

  • I'm experiencing a weird issue with my laptop. When I start it up, Windows won't boot properly. I get a blank screen with the flight symbol and power symbol lights turned on. Both symbols are lit, but nothing happens for a few minutes to an hour, and then it automatically starts up.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any ideas what might be causing it? I've tried booting into Safe Mode and running a Startup Repair, but no luck so far.

Laptop specs: Asus Tuf F15 FX507ZC4 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    The fact that the flight (airplane mode) and power lights are on but you get a blank screen for an extended period points to a hardware initialization or driver conflict problem, rather than a complete system failure. The fact that it eventually boots is a key clue.
