The issue you're describing—being prompted with a permission dialogue and then seeing an error about someone controlling or modifying your files during a PC reset—is unusual but not unheard of. It could be related to permission issues, corrupted system files, or security settings that interfere with the reset process.
This error often appears if something is interfering with the reset. Try running a malware scan, disconnecting from the internet/USB drives, and then attempt the reset again. If it still fails, use Advanced Startup > Troubleshoot > Reset this PC, or create a Windows 11 installation USB and do a clean install.
