Unable to Opt out of Windows Insider

I thought I was just looking into the Insider program, but suddenly realized I was enrolled in it. I received a "W11 Insider Preview 23451.1000 (ni_prerelease)-" update notice on my laptop on 5/15/2023.  The bottom right hand side of my desktop now shows "W11 Home Insider Preview Eval. Copy: Build 2345.ni_prerelease.230428-1438". 

When I went in Settings to Window Insider and tried to toggle "off" the option not to receive updates, this area is "grayed out."  It also shows that I am in the "Dev" channel, even though I never was given a chance to choose a channel.  From what I can see, the only way to opt out if I am in the "Dev" channel is to do a complete reinstall of Windows, which I want to prevent doing, for obvious reasons.

Can you help, please?  I just want to opt out.  There has to be an easier way.  Why has Microsoft made this so impossible for customers.  Thx.
