Unable to Disable Recommended Section in Start Menu
Hello, I'm uncertain about what occurred; I happened to notice a Windows cumulative update that took place last night. Since then, I have observed that the Start menu continues to display apps in the recommended section, even though I have this option turned off in the Start menu settings.

I had the same issue where I was always seeing one app in the recommended section even though everything was disabled. I was able to remove them by enabling start menu recommendations for some time (long enough for it to update the recommendations a few times), and then disabling them again. They have not come back since.
