Two Google Chrome icons in the taskbar
Two Google Chrome icons in the taskbar: that's one too many How do I make sure there is only one icon (like other programs, I don't see why the Chrome one is duplicate?)
Having two Chrome icons in the taskbar can happen for several reasons, such as multiple pinned shortcuts, different Chrome windows, or a glitch.
