- Sep 20, 2024In this case, you can try to force restart your iPhone first. Sometimes the system is stuck and the touch screen is not responding. If force restarting doesn't work, check if the screen is damaged or abnormal. If the screen is intact but it still doesn't work, it may be a system problem. It is recommended to connect to a computer and restore the system with iTunes to see if it can be fixed. If it doesn't work, you may need to send it to an Apple store for inspection. It may be a hardware problem.

I recently encountered the same situation. The iPhone screen not responding to touch at all, and unlocking the phone has become very troublesome. I tried restarting several times, but the problem is still not solved. I also started to notice this problem after updating to the latest iOS 17. I feel that it may be related to the system update. I suspect that some underlying applications or system bugs caused this problem, because it has been working well before the update.
If anyone has encountered a similar situation or knows how to fix it, I would really appreciate some suggestions!
