Transitioning from the Development Channel to the Beta Channel

Hello there!

 

I am currently on Windows 11 Build: 26120.751 and have been dealing with frequent BSOD issues. As a result, I made the decision to switch from the Dev Channel to the Beta Channel in the Windows Insider Program.

 

I'm curious, will I receive an update to change to the Beta channel only when their build number surpasses mine?

    When you do receive the update, it might look like a normal cumulative update, but underneath the hood, it will be changing your channel and updating your build number to match the latest Beta Channel build.
