Transfer WIndows 10 home license to Windows 11 Home Insider
Hi, I asked Microsoft support for help with a my license, but they still don´t have the right tools to do it. What I want is to transfer my Windows 10 Home license (obtained via Microsoft Store) ...
- Sep 25, 2021A clean install is really the best option with this type of upgrade, as you can tell win 11 has a lot of new features and looks, a fresh install will allow it to properly setup, make sure to back up to onedrive so you can have quick access to restoring your files once installed

Sep 25, 2021If I understood correctly, your wife's computer - it meets all the requirements for Windows11 - then it will automatically be able to upgrade - if she has Windows10 installed.

Deleted My bad. Forgot to mention that her Win 11 is not activated. She never had a key.
- _RBL_Sep 25, 2021Brass ContributorI would reinstall and use your windows credentials, setup, add her user account and see if that works, or try and add your credentials as another user with admin rights and then try activating it, you may need to login to the windows store to validate license.
