Transfer WIndows 10 home license to Windows 11 Home Insider
Hi, I asked Microsoft support for help with a my license, but they still don´t have the right tools to do it. What I want is to transfer my Windows 10 Home license (obtained via Microsoft Store) ...
- A clean install is really the best option with this type of upgrade, as you can tell win 11 has a lot of new features and looks, a fresh install will allow it to properly setup, make sure to back up to onedrive so you can have quick access to restoring your files once installed
When installing windows use your credential's to setup windows, once setup is complete you can add her profile and assign the desired admin rights,
~side note, her computer may already have its own version of windows key and it may already be active, go to settings/system/activation and if it says registered online or on local machine you're good, if it says activation error, try running the activation troubleshoot it usually fixes it 90% of the time, if nothing else works try a clean install.

- Well, here I´m as always in the 10% chance not to happen. xD
Troubleshoot doesn´t fix the problem and also doesn´t see my PC in ¨Other devices with Windows¨ to change it. Strange, because I can see my PC listed in her profile in the MS webpage.
