Tip to fix white flash issue when opening the browser
The white flash issue has been present in Chrome for years. Now there is finally a "fix" (or workaround) for this, unfortunately there isn't a proper flag to easily enable it, you have to use the command line flag that I spotted a month ago.

1. Disable hardware acceleration:
Google Chrome:
Open Chrome, click the “...” menu in the upper right corner, and select “Settings”. menu in the upper right corner and select “Settings”.
Navigate to “System” and turn off “Use hardware acceleration to restart the browser.
2. Update the graphics card driver:
Open Device Manager and expand Display Adapters.
Right-click on the graphics card and select “Update Driver”.
Visit the official website of the graphics card manufacturer (e.g. NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) to download and install the latest driver.
3. Check browser extensions:
Disable all browser extensions and check if the problem still exists.
If the problem is resolved, enable the extensions one by one, find the one causing the problem and uninstall it.
4. Reset browser settings:
Google Chrome:
Open Chrome, click the “...” menu in the upper right corner and select “Settings”. menu in the upper right corner and select “Settings”.
Navigate to “Advanced” > “Reset and Cleanup” and select “Restore settings to original defaults”.
5. Update your browser:
Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version:
Google Chrome: Click on “...” Menu > “Help” > “About Google Chrome”.
Check the system display settings:
Open “Settings” > “System” > “Display”.
Make sure the display scaling is set to 100% and turn off the “Night Mode” or “HDR” option.
6. Use clean boot:
Press Win + R, type msconfig and enter.
In the “Services” tab, check “Hide all Microsoft services” and click “Disable all”.
In the “Startup” tab, click “Open Task Manager” and disable all startup items.
Restart your computer and check if the problem is resolved.
7. Contact Microsoft Support:
If the issue remains unresolved, submit the issue through Microsoft Support with a detailed error message and screenshots.
