The list of temporary files in the Insider system storage settings cannot be loaded
Because the Temporary files page remains at “Calculating” only after the Insider update, this looks like a Settings or servicing regression rather than damaged files. Restart Windows and check for a newer Insider build, since preview defects are often corrected in flights. As an alternative, enable Storage Sense under Settings, System, Storage and let it remove unnecessary temporary files. Avoid manually deleting Windows or WinSxS content. If other Settings pages also hang, open an elevated Command Prompt, run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth, restart, and then run sfc /scannow. Record the build with winver. If the page still never completes, search Feedback Hub for the same issue and upvote it, or submit a problem report while reproducing the behavior so diagnostics are captured. Include the build, available disk space, screenshots, and whether Storage Sense succeeds. This gives Microsoft evidence to confirm an Insider regression.
