System CPU on Insider Dev Builds since 20161
Is anyone else seeing high CPU usage in a kernel mode system process since build 20161 (currently on 20175 and this is still occurring).
I tracked the threads using Process Explorer and it appears to be a file write thread that is continually spooling but with very little actual IO. It's not clear what files are being written.

- I have the same problem: System process use 20% of CPU . Current build 22000.
I logged a feedback item with detail, logs, recordings and some analysis two builds back. No movement yet but I suspect the impact may be reasonably widespread. so I'm expecting that this will fixed.
I just thought it would be worthwhile trying to find out whether anyone else is seeing this issue.

I observed this behavior not only in Windows but in other operating system too and they are different issues causing this behavior.

I agree with Reza's advice, you should report it to Feedback hub and hope this gets sorted in the next arriving build.

Andrew Matthews performance issues like this are very tricky.
You may check Resource Monitor and may be you get some information.
It would be best to report this issue through Feedback Hub , so Windows team could investigate.
Sometimes it is related to hardware specification, for example in case of HDD hard disk (not SSD) , bad sector might cause this behavior.
