sudden slow internet speed on windows 11
but ONE thing always works: when I feel there is a delay in the network, like, Youtube starts to lag in videos, I run a quick SPEEDTEST, find out immediately that is not my regular 500mbps (shows something like 120mbps or less), then I disable and re-enable the network adapter.
BINGO, it returns immediately to work fast and in 500mbps. So this problem is driver related or some type of relationship among the driver and Windows 11.
I have a powerful machine, 32gb RAM, Ryzen 9 5600X, GTX 3060ti, etc, so it's not an old rig.
Please, Microsoft...I am not cursing at Windows 11 in forums, I am supporting it but you need to address this.

jf-moreiraI even decided to re-crimp a pair of new cables here when I discovered something: for some odd reason my network card was into DHCP mode. And since I have a Mesh WiFi network (remember, I am using CABLE in this PC), one of the routers for this given Wifi Mesh network is plugged into the same switch as my PC is.
What happened is that my PC requested an automatic IP address and guess who provided the IP and gateway? The Wifi Mesh router. For some reason throughput through it is not as good as a cable directly going into my fiber optic converter switch (duh). I set the IP address on the correct Vlan with the correct gateway and the rest of the afternoon the PC is still a solid 500mbps+ to the Internet.
If anything changes I'll return here but the problem was my infrastructure configuration.
