sudden slow internet speed on windows 11

recently I updated my windows 10 to windows 11. after that my download speed is suddenly decreased my actual internet speed is 25mbps when I check on the speed test also its showing 25mbps but while ...

anupbadri  I used TCPoptimizer and set it to 100MBPS.  Run it as administrator.  Boom, speeds back to normal.  Great little tool, changes all the settings for you.  I didn't have any of the KIller stuff in Settings, so this worked for me.  Just Google the program, free.

    bryandav1965 This was a huge help. Same story as a lot of folks, upgraded from 10 to 11, have 1 Gig internet, was only getting around 30 m down. Used TCP Optimizer, got my speeds back. Annoying bug for sure. Appreciate your insight

    bryandav1965Thanks, your suggestion worked for me!  I had upgraded to Windows 11 and was getting 20 Mbps or slower download speeds on WiFi.  After running TCPOptimizer and updating the Settings to Optimal and Connection Speed to 100+Mbps, I am now getting 400 Mbps or faster download speeds, as expected.
