sudden slow internet speed on windows 11
anupbadri If you go to services and then search for the killer services and 'kill' them then your problems are over.
- thanks man! i had this issue also in Windows 10. When I connect by WiFi everything works perfect (DL/UP: 1000 mb/s), but when connect by the wire i had upload max 2 mb/s. After deleting killer apps it starts working correctly. After update to Windows 11 its happened again xD but your solution is perfect! Thank You!

- This works like a champ, we should disable that server forever. It take out 150mb download speed from my 200mb plan

WenchxHunter No clue. The upgrade must use generic Registry values that don't work for all. But this little tool has always fixed my problem. It simply tweaks the registry values for better throughput. Wish I had a better reason as I'm just guessing. But this always seems to happen with upgrades and some updates. Glad the fix worked for you.
In my case, I simply disabled Citrix Virtual Adapter. It seems this virtual device did not like the upgrade from Windows 10.
The Reason for the Speed Problem is very Easy. On the Device Manager, select the Network Interface, right click and then on preferences. Click on Extended. Seach for Speed & Dublex. On my device the 2,5Gbs entry was selected. Go to 1.0 GBS FullDublex and the Problem is solved!!!
SidEwigk THIS WORKED, like a charm!! New PC build was fine yesterday, this morning it was very slow. Changing the adapter to 1Gps Full Duplex fixed it. Thank You!
