Stuck on Experimental 26300 builds despite having my channel set to Experimental Future Platforms

A while ago, I set my insider preview channel to Future Platforms, but despite having done that all the way back when the channels were changed to what they are now, I haven't actually received any of the Future Platforms builds.

 

Windows Update seems to be working fine, since I still get new 26300 builds, but I don't get any builds for Future Platforms, how do i fix this?

    The screenshots show that the PC is still on the regular Experimental build train, 26300.8935. Although Future Platforms is selected in the Windows Insider settings, the device has not yet moved to the Future Platforms build branch.

    Future Platforms is a separate Windows core-version track, not another name for the 26300 series. Microsoft released 26300.8935 to the standard Experimental channel on July 20, while the current Experimental (Future Platforms) build is 29634.1000, released on July 27. Once the move is complete, winver and the desktop watermark should show a 296xx build number.

    A few checks are worth trying first:

    1. Confirm that Experimental (Future Platforms) remains selected under Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program > Advanced options. Also verify that the Microsoft account shown there is registered for the Windows Insider Program.
    2. Restart the PC, then return to Windows Update and select Check for updates. Make sure the device is not on a metered connection, has sufficient free disk space for an in-place upgrade, and does not have another update waiting for a restart.
    3. Open Settings > Windows Update > Update history and look for failed feature updates or installation errors. If 26300 servicing updates install normally and no errors are listed, resetting Windows Update services is unlikely to help; the Future Platforms upgrade simply may not have been offered to the device yet.

    If Windows Update continues to report that the device is up to date after these checks, submit feedback with Win + F. Include the screenshots, build 26300.8935, the selected Future Platforms option, and the date of the last update check. The latest Future Platforms build includes a renewed Insider flight certificate, so the missing 29634.1000 offer is worth reporting if it continues.
