I’ve had similar issues with games freezing, and I’d first check whether the problem is happening with one specific game or with several Steam games. Updating the GPU drivers, verifying the game files, checking temperatures, and closing unnecessary background apps are good places to start. If the computer completely locks up, I’d also keep an eye on RAM and CPU/GPU temperatures because overheating or hardware issues can cause repeated freezes.
