i have this problem. i had two files that were shown to be the problem. i removed them, one by renaming and the other by uninstalling a program. neither show up as causing the problem. i also have virtualization turned on in my gigabyte bios. when i restart the machine after re-enabling memory integrity it turns the integrity back off with no explanation. i tried fully turning off the machine and then turning back on but that did not help. are there other ideas that i can try?
TIA

Have you used official Microsoft ISO to install your Windows?
Have you used any 3rd party tools such a rufus that disable important security features in Windows?
1. A mouse driver updated from windows update. Some China made mouse I purchased off Lazada. This driver would completely disable Core isolation on my windows 10 desktop. Some generic waytec mouse and keyboard driver.
2. For safely reason I reinstalled windows 10 using windows 10 official ISO. Using upgrade windows options and keeping files and programs.
3. After reinstallation I made sure never to update to those waytec drivers..
4. Since then I never suffered core isolation shutting off after a system restart anymore but there were other issues I believe that it is all interlinked with dodgy drivers... one major issue was Intel management interface driver..... updating this driver would confuse windows update to detect my desktop PC as another pc with different specs... in which widows update would push me innacurrate updates.
I suggest that anymore facing the same issues I had to revert back to the latest driver avaible from the manufacturer and skip updating to the latest version provided by Intel... In which could negatively affect your system.

interesting I had two drivers showing as causing the problem. Removed both drivers and not the scan does not find a troublesome driver. But, when I turn on core isolation it rewrites a reboot but after the boot it turns off core isolation with no reason given. TechTroubler
- TechTroublerOct 06, 2024Copper ContributorI believe I faced the same issue too... I had gone through many hours of loading system image restore and countless nights awake.... for me once core isolation started acting that way.... and after I had identified the issue with the waytech drivers. I proceeded to remove 3rd security software as well at the time of suffering core isolation turning off on restart.
I never had the same issue repeat since for the entire of 2023 till to date.- jimp335Oct 06, 2024Copper Contributor
TechTroubler thanks. Interesting. I don’t have any third party security software running. Do u think windows defender could be the culprit?
