Significant drop in the number of frames on the NVIDIA 3080 on latest Canary builds
The issue does not occur on version 27842. At the moment, I consider it to be solved in the indicated Canarian compilation.
Hmmm, today I replaced my previous EVGA 3080 Ultra FTW3 graphics card with NVIDIA ASUS GeForce RTX 5080 ROG Astral OC 16GB GDDR7 DLSS4 and still, for example, in the case of Elder Scrolls Online, I observe fps drops below 50 (as on the old card) - which is bizarre for such a game. There is definitely something going on in the latest Canary builds that artificially overloads my desktop computer. Such drops are not understandable - considering that on my laptop with an NVIDIA 3080 laptop card (significantly weaker), I have much higher fps.
The observed situation, together with the problem described in the topic at the link below, may indicate the likelihood of a connection between both problems, especially since neither problem occurs on my test laptop.
